We are looking forward to an outstanding year of achievement here at – “Home of the Blue Devils.” Our goal is to have all of our students achieve in their classes and make connections to BCHS through our co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. There are core expectations for all BCHS students which will be emphasized each day of the 2019-2020 school year. BCHS students will be expected to:/ Take Responsibility The quality or state of being responsible Responsible – able to answer for one’s conduct or obligations Have Integrity The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles Show Respect A way of treating or thinking about something or someone Respect Staff Use polite language and tone of voice Respect Other Students Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself Respect Yourself Respect personal space Respect Learning In addition, students who have the privilege of representing in Extra-curricular and Co-curricular activities must consider themselves students first. Our expectation is that these students will maintain a “C” average in all of their courses. In an effort to assist students who are not maintaining a “C” average in their classes, we have implemented and Academic Pro-Action Plan./ The Pro-Action Plan allows students to continue to participate in activities as long as they attend academic support opportunities during each week. Coaches and Advisors have set up study halls during SMART Lunch. Teachers are available during SMART Lunch and after school. The first day of school for students is Tuesday, September 7, 2010 (12:00 early dismissal for students). Students are directed to report to their assigned grade room upon entering the building.
